We are incredibly proud to have dressed Becca Harvey and Jade Stanger, the founders of AFTA Studios, for a truly memorable evening at the Women's Football Awards 2026.
The talented duo took home the prestigious Best Breakthrough Business award, recognising the remarkable impact they have made within women's football through creativity, storytelling and officially licensed merchandise. What began as a passion-driven creative venture has grown into one of the most exciting businesses in the women's game.
Over the past season, AFTA Studios has delivered an impressive range of projects, including the officially licensed Love This City collection for Manchester City Women, Up the Villa for Aston Villa Women – the club's first women's-specific merchandise range – and Part of the Pyramid, created in collaboration with The FSA, The FA and the FA Women's National League. Their work has also featured collaborations with London City Lionesses and Mastercard, while their products have been stocked at Wembley Stadium, Manchester City and Aston Villa stores.
Most recently, they illustrated the Manchester City Women 25/26 WSL Champions merchandise design, adding another milestone to an already remarkable year.
Recognising a significant gap in the market for high-quality made-to-measure tailoring for women, Becca and Jade approached us in search of something that would offer both exceptional fit and timeless style for such an important occasion. Like many women, they found that formalwear options are often limited when it comes to tailoring designed specifically around the individual.
For the awards evening, we worked closely with them to create two bespoke black tuxedos that reflected the significance of the occasion while remaining true to their individual style. Designed and tailored specifically for each founder, the tuxedos delivered a sharp, elegant silhouette alongside the comfort and confidence that only true made-to-measure tailoring can provide.
Every detail was carefully considered, from the precise fit and luxurious finishing touches to the bespoke lining in AFTA Studios' signature brand colours. Each jacket was also personalised with embroidered initials, creating garments that were not only tailored to perfection but also celebrated the identity and journey of the business they have built together.
As tailors, there is something particularly rewarding about creating garments for clients marking important moments in their lives and careers. Seeing Becca and Jade collect their award wearing tuxedos crafted specifically for them was a proud moment for our entire team.
